1. A Royal Upbringing
Born on February 26, 1994, Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Prime
Minister of the UAE. Growing up in one of the wealthiest royal households in the world, she developed an early love for horses that has
stayed with her into adulthood — a passion she shares with much of the extended Al Maktoum family, who are well known internationally

In 2023, Sheikha Mahra married her distant cousin, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, an entrepreneur active in real estate who, like her, was no
stranger to social media — his own feed was full of skiing trips, falconry, and horseback riding. A few months into the marriage, she
announced she was pregnant, and in May 2024 the couple welcomed a daughter.
For a while, things looked like a fairy tale. Then, roughly a year after the wedding, it all fell apart just as publicly as it had begun — the
couple announced their split on Instagram, catching fans and followers completely off guard. The news spread fast, and reactions poured
